Tatsuya Morimoto

We operate Tokoen in the Ichinomiya district of southern Okayama, the historic birthplace of Shimizu Hakuto peaches. After studying peach farming for three years, I stepped out on my own. As a newcomer to the craft, I now spend every single day fully dedicated to my trees.

My practice centers on organic methods and using local resources to keep farming eco-friendly. Working alongside the power of nature, I carefully nurture each peach. I have a deep love for living creatures, so keeping nature's cycle healthy, from birds and insects to the microscopic life in the soil, is key to how I farm.

I am still learning every day, treasuring each experience and pouring my heart into every single fruit. Because our peaches grow together with nature, every year brings its own unique character. I hope you enjoy discovering the distinct story behind each peach.
